Our goal

The goal of Mama Mzungu is to give the people the strength to lift themselves up. We believe that this can be best sustained by teaching them to do so without the help of others. Mama Mzungu gives children the opportunity to get an education, which allows them to grant their knowledge to theird direct surroundings, and to newer generations. The strengthening of a society takes time, but proper education will safeguard this growth.

Of course, this change will not come easily. That is why Mama Mzungu, with the help of our sponsors, ensures the education of between 15 and 30 new children each year. Even though high school in Kenya can be attended free of charge, boarding schools still require payment from the parents. These costs are paid for by the organisation for those who would not be able to attend otherwise.
